The Everyday Sexism project

HUGE TRIGGER WARNING HERE FOR CONTENT ON SEXISM, SEXUAL HARRASMENT.

The Everyday Sexism project is a way for you and us to speak up about the sexism we face on a day-to-day basis. On the official website, you can share your story of the sexism you might have experienced (if you wish to do so). This project will help society see how twisted it has become, when it takes something as important as equality for all genders so lightly.  It can’t be true that we can’t walk in peace, take the underground, just generally be in public, without being harassed or the victims of sexism. No one should have to go through that and society needs to understand that harassment is not acceptable.

You have the right to speak up about this. Sexism is not okay.

If you dont believe that sexism is a problem, then watch this video about the project:

For more info about the project, please do check out

If you live in London and take the underground daily or often, you should check out this article http://londonist.com/2013/07/lets-end-sexual-harassment-on-london-transport.php
